 Travel Japan


Hello everyone, I’m Normita McKinney I was born in the Philippines. I ‘ve been living overseas most of my life. While abroad, I met my husband during military service while he was station in Japan. During our time there I fell in love with the culture, customs, and the people. It is my intention to provide information in many of this area to encourage travel.

The country of Japan and the people are perfection. There is attention in every detail and their courtesies and manners are unrivaled. The beautiful cherry blossom in the spring and the uniformed flower gardens in the summer make Japan a living painting. Even the horrifying sight of Mt. Fuji in the distance is majestic in winter.

Japan is a great place to travel and the people make it better. There are many ancient landmarks and traditions that date back more than 2000 years. Even the ceremonial dress called the “Kimono” is still very popular today, and the Japanese sword remains a very popular souvenir. Every minute spent in Japan is truly amazing and I want as many people to experience it as I have.

I am encouraging you to come with me to my new journey, help me to discover more things about Japan. Come on! Let’s discover it together. I promise you won’t get left out. I will bring you with me to explore “the land of a rising a sun”. I assure you that Japan will not disappoint you.

Kyoto T here are so many things to see and to do in Kyoto. There are hundreds of shrines and temple for you to visit, including Arashiyama site with monkeys and bamboo forest, To-ji the popular Famed Buddhist temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace former residence of the Imperial family, Nijo Castle the historic wooden castle with lush gardens, those are just few example places for you to visit and there are hundreds for you to explore.  Most part of Kyoto will give you sightseeing opportunities that you probably never had before.   Here is my video, please watch and share!
