While abroad, I met my husband during military service while he was station in Japan. During our time there I fell in love with the culture, customs, and the people. There is attention in every detail and their courtesies and manners are unrivaled. The beautiful cherry blossom in the spring and the uniformed flower gardens in the summer make Japan a living painting. Even the horrifying sight of Mt. Fuji in the distance is majestic in winter.
